Preheat oven to 350 degrees. |

Drain artichokes, placing marinade in a small saucepan. Add butter, cheese, and tarragon, and stir over heat until well-combined. |

Chop half the artichoke hearts. Slice artichokes from the other portion into halves. |

Place fish in a lightly buttered baking pan. Sprinkle with chopped artichokes, and place a half artichoke heart on each fillet. Cover all with sauce, and sprinkle with almonds. |

Bake fish until flaky, about 10 minutes per inch of thickness. |
